硒元素(Se)是一种稀有准金属矿物质元素,位于化学周期表第四周期A族,原子序数34。自1817人类首次发现硒元素以来,人们对硒与人类健康之间的关系的挖掘和探索从未停止。1973年WHO确认硒是人与动物生命所必需的微量元素之一,同时也是维持人体健康所必需的微量营养元素及生命元素。由于人体不能自主合成硒,因此所需硒元素只能通过食物从外界摄取。硒摄入量不足或过多均可导致疾病的发生,而我国严重缺硒,缺硒导致的人类疾病尤其普遍。当前,通过"土壤施硒或叶面施硒"人工培植富硒农产品、基因组学生物强化硒吸收基因表达及开发富硒保健食品药品进行补硒具有广阔的应用前景。
Abstract:Selenium(Se)is a rare quasi-metallic mineral element located in the fourth cycle A group of the chemical periodic table with atomic number 34.Since the first discovery of Se in 1817,people have been exploring the relationship between Se and human health.In 1973,WHO confirmed that Se is one of the essential trace elements for human and animal life,as well as a necessary micronutrient and life element to maintain human health.The content of Se in the body is closely related to the vitality of life.Because Se can't be synthesized by body independently,the Se needed can only be absorbed through diet from the outside world.Insufficient or excessive Se intake can lead to the occurrence of diseases.However,Se deficiency is a serious problem in China,and human diseases caused by Se deficiency are particularly common.At present,artificial cultivation of Se-enriched agricultural products by applying Se in soil or on leaves,expression of bio-enhanced Se absorption genes in genomics and development of selenium-enriched health food and medicines for Se supplementation have broad application prospects.
